Just Friends Since childhood I love her I don't know why she also play, study ,roam with me, with me she laugh & cry. College separated but not togetherness, she still for me care, our parents were happy, sure we will marry, judged from there stare. collecting composure called her on terrace, sit with my knees bend, purpose her my love, ask for marriage are we not Just Friend? astonished I looked, profusely she laughed, 'We are couple.Why?'  'Our friendship I adore,many memories it store, Its ruining, don't try?' How to react is difficult to understand, sheepishly I smiled, friendship is first step towards love, still we have to go miles

Remove The Darkness Within Diwali is not only the festival of artificial light but the light of enlightenment we ignite in ourselves. Togetherness, sharing, giving and the things like that associated with this festival all aim at making us a good human being. To be a good human is prerequisite before becoming a good follower of culture,faith,religion or leader. Happy Diwali to all.  World is blind to humanity, hate is the motto of today, against the rising brutality, no one has any say, Who will light the lamp to send away darkness? In politics all faces are the same, no one is crusader against the bad, business is checkmate game, no one is for poor sad, Who will light the lamp to spread the kindness? Let the Human inside us rise, more than any Messiah who sacrifice, Who on evil & good can advice, encourage other to be wise, Only a light illuminating inside us can kill the darkness. Madhushala (Few Verses)

मधुशाला (कुछ छंद ) (Madhushala) - The Tavern - Harivansh Rai Bachchan  'Madhushala ' (The Tavern) is the most famous work of Harivansh Rai Bachchan. It is among the longest poems I have read. Through tavern, wine, drinker as analogy ' Bachchan ' has bring out the complexity of life and highlighted hollowness of society, religion, philosophy and traditions. I have selected three of my favorite verse from this long poem to translate in hope you like it.  मदिरालय जाने को घर से चलता है पीनेवला, 'किस पथ से जाऊँ?' असमंजस में है वह भोलाभाला, अलग-अलग पथ बतलाते सब पर मैं यह बतलाता हूँ - 'राह पकड़ तू एक चला चल, पा जाएगा मधुशाला।' Madiralya Jaane Ko Ghar Se Chalta Hai Peenewala, 'Kis Path Se Jaaon?' Asmanjas Mein Hai Wah Bhola Bhala, Alag-Alag Path Batlate Sab Par Mein Yeh Batlata Hun -  'Rah Pakad Tu Ek Chala Chal, Pa Jaega Madhushala .'
